A place for your brain dump
You don’t need a perfect list. Start with one place to put the thoughts you don’t want to lose.
Capture now, organize later
An errand, a half-formed idea, something to ask a friend: they don’t all need a category right away. Pick one easy-to-reach place and write the thought down in whatever words come naturally. Getting it out of your head is enough for this step.
Make it easy to find again
A pinned note or a dedicated conversation can work. Choose somewhere you already visit rather than a new tool you have to remember to open. The best place is the one you’ll actually use.
Choose one thing, not everything
When you revisit your notes, look for one item that matters today. Turn it into a small next action. The rest can stay put; capturing a thought doesn’t mean you’ve committed to doing it immediately.
These are general productivity ideas, not medical advice. Different approaches work for different people.
